CRS report on NSA program
By Tom Smith

A must read post on Powerline. According to Powerline, The Washington Post outdoes itself in mischaracterizing the CRS report, which says essentially that presidential powers to wiretap without a warrant under Article II are arguable, rather than what the Post says it says, non-existent. Thus it appears the Post takes its clue from some of our law professors, that ignorance of the law is no hindrance to reporting on the law.

Links to the Post article and the CRS report are on the Powerline post. I think I may actually read the CRS report, in spite of the further disqualification this would create for my having opinions about this matter.
