Howard Dean on Meet the Press
By Gail HeriotI caught Howard Dean on Meet the Press yesterday while I was flying back to San Diego from Washington on Jet Blue. Tim Russert asked him what the Democrats' position on Iraq is and Dean replied that "it's not our job" to have a position, since the Democrats control neither the White House, the Senate nor the House. The point was evidently that the Democrats would prefer to wait and see what happens before they commit themselves. Lovely.
