Tradesports owner qualifies as "exempt board of trade" in the USBy Tom SmithThis is interesting. Bloggers often note how some political future or other is trading on Tradesports. Now its owner, Ireland based TEN, has qualified as an EBOT, or exempt board of trade in the US. Does this mean more and better US prediction markets? I hope so, but the future is far from clear . . . We may need a prediction market for prediction markets.
