Our Friend Bernie Siegan
By Gail HeriotOur friend Bernie Siegan, Distinguished Professor of Law here at USD, had a stroke on Thursday. Dean Kevin Cole reports that Bernie was alert and able to participate in decisions about his treatment following the stroke. Bernie, who is widely known as one of the sweetest and kindest men in the legal academy (as well as a gifted and prolific constitutional law scholar), will be undergoing surgery tomorrow. Wherever you are, say a little prayer for Bernie.
And to you Bernie, if you're reading this: Get well soon. We all love you.
