Let's start a law wiki
By Tom Smith

Why isn't there a big, widely known law wiki? There should be. There are many lawyers and law professors in the US. And lots of legal topics. Law students, lawyers, scholars, judges, lots of people could add to it. People could link to their own articles to help get their name out there. Law firms could link to memos they are proud of. It could be a good way to diffuse legal knowledge out to the governed (ie all of us) and that would be a good think for the Republic.

There must be some good, open source wiki software out there.

THERE IS ONE, it turns out, as is so often the case with good ideas, here. I think it would be a good exercise for law students to edit entries.
