Fascinating review by Hillel Halkin in the New Republic of Vladimir Jabotinsky's newly translated novel "The Five". Jabotinsky was the leader of "Revisionist" (non-socialist) Zionism in the years before his death in 1940. He has always been a controversial figure in Israel, but no one doubts that he was an interesting and very talented man. Halkin mentions Disraeli as a comparable political figure and novelist. He doesn't mention Barbara Boxer.
