I love Westerns. One of my favorite recent movies is
Open Range, except for the part at the end where Kevin Costner gets the girl. It's obvious he's going to. All he had to do is walk up to her house and say, "that fence needs fixin'," and that would be the end. Instead, you get ten minutes of mush. Oh well. Almost a perfect movie, especially the way Charlie Waite shut up the big Irish thug.
Now comes Brokeback Mountain. Here's a
